David Chang , the founder of Momofuku restaurant group, is reportedly preparing to open a new restaurant in a new zip code - Chelsea - although what type of eatery the popular chef has up his sleeve is unclear. Eater NY reports that Chang's business partner Drew Salmon applied for a liquor license for a storefront at 232 8th Ave. between 21st and 22nd streets, a location that is now home to a noodle and curry restaurant called M-Thai.
