The current head of the Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo contemporary art museum in Mostoles near Madrid, Ferran Barenblit, has been announced as the new director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona, reports Belen Palanco in the Art Newspaper . Barenblit has been at his current post since 2008, where he helmed exhibitions of Teresa Margolles and Jeremy Deller.
