CEDARS, Featuring Works by Native American Writers, Set for La MaMa in 2015

Mirage Theatre Company is making its La MaMa debut with "Cedars," a theatrical adaptation of Native American poetry and prose performed by Native American actors, directed by June Prager. Through the poetic voices of contemporary Native American writers, the play gives a 21st century face to the struggles of indigenous people, depicting their adaptation into modern-day society and celebrating Native American culture and enduring spirit.
