MIT theater professor Charlotte Brathwaite, who started her career in the East Village's La MaMa repertory group at age 16, now returns to make her directorial debut with "Prophetika." Billed as an oratorio detailing the escape of Harriet Tubman, it quotes from the likes of Toni Morrison and old gospel standards while offering dizzying visuals and improvised sound design.
