Gas line tampering focus of New York blast, mayor says

A residential apartment building collapses and is engulfed in flames in New York City's East Village neighbourhood, critically injuring at least one person. Someone possibly "inappropriately accessed" a gas line before an explosion and fire that rocked a row of Manhattan buildings, injuring 22 people, four of them critically, and left two persons unaccounted for, Mayor Bill de Blasio says.
