For connoisseurs of the Jewish-appetizing tradition, this is shaping up to be quite a fall. Not only will we have several shiny new shops and restaurants in which to satisfy our bagel-and-lox habits, but some of these new enterprises are opening microfactories with the sole intent of flooding the market with their new-breed old-fashioned bagels.
